General Data Protection Regulation Policy (GDPR)
New legislation about how businesses and organisations hold data on their contacts and how they may use this data comes into effect from 25th May 2018. ACC has to abide by this piece of legislation.
We have acted on advice from both the PAGB and the CACC about how we might take steps to ensure we meet the new rules.
In essence, the Club must state what data we hold on each member, and that is only your email address. We must also ask you to let the Club know how we contact you and keep you informed. We have a very simple form for this which only requires two ticks and a signature. The form is available at club meetings.
